Christine Blasey Ford's testimony on Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee was arresting, painful, and often damning -- even for the pundits on Fox News.
After Ford began her testimony on Thursday, Fox News host Chris Wallace told a panel that Ford's testimony and the cross-examination format made this a "disaster for Republicans."

His fellow panelists shared similar sentiments, though none with quite the same gravity. Bret Baier said that hearing from Ford is a "totally different thing" from reading her allegations.
Brit Hume even called her a "very sympathetic witness."

Judge Andrew Napolitano later added of Ford:
"She is extremely credible and Rachel Mitchell not only is not laying a glove on her but, in my view, is actually helping her credibility."

It's important not to overstate or suggest that the panelists had a radical change of heart. Earlier in the week, Fox gave a purely softball interview to Judge Kavanaugh and his wife. One of today's panelists didn't find Ford credible because she didn't understand why she would want to go up the stairs. (Ford testified she went up to go to the bathroom.)
And as critics noted on Twitter, the hearing doesn't just appear to be a disaster for Republicans but a moral disaster for the country at large.
